Acne is Treatable

Acne is very traumatizing to anyone that has dealt with it, however it is treatable. There are so many products out on the market right now that help with acne control although we should keep in mind that no matter what the experts say about what we eat and it not affecting our acne, this does make a difference on our skin. Here are 5 foods that you should include in your daily diet that can help your skin's overall health.

1. Carrots, and Other Vegetables High in Vitamin A

2. Essential Fatty Acids Found in Salmon, Walnuts, Flax seeds and Canola oil

3. Whole Wheat Bread and Cereals

4. Green tea

5. Drink plenty of water every day.

And there are too many to name as far as skin care products, but I will tell you acne doesnt have to keep you from doing what you want. One product I love and think everyone that suffers with just light to severe acne should try it. This would be Retin-A, I have tried so many like for example, Zenmed, Proactiv, Biore , Doxicyclene, herbal remedies. I love Retin-A and am happy to share my experience with it, leaves my face feeling smooth and nothing but beautiful skin. One thing to keep in mind is that it also works against aging, it wont get rid of wrinkles but it does prevent them, just another good reason to give it a try.

Acne is never pleasant but it does not have to be permanent.
A good thing to do is schedule periodic appointments with your dermatologist to monitor your progress and make sure you are using the right medication.
